After a rise in cases attributed on the deadly Delta variant, Russia recorded 808 coronavirus-related fatalities on Thursday, an all-time high it has reached five times in the last month.
In the past 24 hours, the coronavirus task force identified 21932, including 2,294 in Moscow, new COVID-19 cases, a daily number that has been steadily falling since peaking in July. A total of 6,534,791 cases have been verified, including a mortality toll of 168,049.
